If you like the idea of reclining on your own private beach but don’t want to be too removed from island life, Palm Point delivers the best of both worlds. Located in a gated community on its own peninsula on the western tip of Antigua, it’s just a short walk from the buzzing Jolly Harbour Marina’s restaurants and bars. The villa can comfortably house 14 guests – there are six bedrooms in the main house and a master suite set in a circular pavilion with 360-degree ocean views. The villa has its own 22-metre yacht for you to use at will — find a secluded cove for a picnic or the perfect snorkelling spot — and a private chef and butler can be arranged. The spacious terrace is set up for lounging and dining, and children are welcome – bikes, kayaks, snorkel gear and paddle boards are all available.
