The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has announced the debut of its newest superyacht, Luminara, bringing a fresh wave of luxury to Mediterranean cruising this summer. Travellers can explore itineraries from the French and Italian Rivieras to the Dalmatian Coast and Greek Isles, all while enjoying Luminara’s spacious new suites, enhanced pools, expanded Marina, and the brand’s renowned personalised service.

Where will Luminara sail?
Following its inaugural season in the Mediterranean, the 226-suite yacht will sail to Africa and the Indian Ocean before beginning Asia-Pacific voyages in December 2025, featuring destinations such as Hạ Long Bay, Osaka, and Bangkok. In May 2026, Luminara will head to Alaska and Canada, offering rare access to the region’s pristine wilderness.

What to expect aboard Luminara
Designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, private terraces, and interiors of dark oak, marble, smoked glass and warm timber, Luminara blends intimacy with sophistication. Its dining program features five distinctive venues, including collaborations with award-winning chefs Fabio Trabocchi and Michael Mina. Highlights include Trabocchi’s Venetian-inspired Seta su Luminara and Mina’s Mediterranean-Middle Eastern fusion at Beach House, alongside regionally focused concepts like Azur, Haesu Bit, and Mistral.

Have you heard about the Shore Event Collection?
The Shore Event Collection, offered exclusively by The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection aboard Ilma and Evrima, gives guests unique access to the authentic history, culture and cuisine of some of the world’s most celebrated destinations. Designed to immerse travellers in each region’s food, music, art and architecture, the collection features complimentary Shore Events for all guests as well as limited-capacity Reserve Events for a more intimate experience. Highlights include private dinners at centuries-old villas, exclusive tours of historic landmarks, and lively beachside gatherings at renowned clubs transformed into private venues, such as Alemagou Beach Club in Mykonos for Ilma’s guests or Cotton Club Sardinia for those aboard Evrima.

Expect to sip craft cocktails at sunset and dining at world-class restaurants such as the Mirazur in Monte Carlo. With three Michelin stars and a 95.5 rating on the Michelin website, Mirazur held the title of “World’s Best Restaurant” from 2019 to 2021 and remains one of the world’s most sought-after dining destinations. The restaurant’s current waitlist extends into 2026, but guests of Ilma can receive exclusive access to the meal of a lifetime on 15 October 2025. In Edinburgh, Scottish glamour and tradition come to life at Barnbougle Castle, a 17th-century palace on the Rosebery Estate that remains the private residence of the Earl of Rosebery. His Lordship has graciously granted exclusive access to the castle and its stunning grounds for an evening full of cocktails, canapés and Scottish hospitality. These experiences combine luxury, culture and entertainment to create unforgettable moments available only to Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection guests.
