For travellers who seek the finest that the world has to offer

Oceania Cruises is transitioning to adults-only sailing

Oceania Cruises, the world’s leading culinary and destination-focused luxury cruise line, is entering a new era of refined cruising, announcing a transition to an adults-only experience across its fleet. Effective from 8 January 2026, the cruise line will exclusively welcome guests aged 18 and over for all new reservations on future voyages.

The move reflects a deliberate evolution of the brand’s onboard atmosphere, centred on tranquillity, sophistication and meaningful connection. Existing bookings made prior to 8 January 2026 that include guests under 18 will be fully honoured, ensuring a seamless and considerate transition for families already confirmed to sail.

According to Oceania Cruises, the decision was guided by extensive research and feedback from loyal repeat guests, travel partners and new-to-brand travellers alike. Across the board, guests cited the line’s serene ambience, unhurried pace and elevated service as the defining reasons they choose to sail with Oceania, qualities increasingly sought after by mature, discerning travellers.

The shift underscores Oceania Cruises’ enduring promise, Your World. Your Way. Guests are invited to explore at their own pace, savour each destination and enjoy the company of like-minded travellers who share a passion for culture, cuisine and immersive travel experiences.
