Adelaide gets a new Qantas Domestic Business Lounge

Stylish and functional with a dining concept that showcases the best of South Australia, the new Qantas Business Lounge may be the airline’s best yet.

Spanning an impressive 1016 square metres and boasting a capacity of 190 guests, the new Qantas Domestic Business Lounge at Adelaide Airport is the airline’s most luxurious yet. Welcoming travellers from mid-2025, the airport lounge was designed in collaboration with design studio Architectus, and takes inspiration from the city’s three most iconic locations: Adelaide Botanic Gardens, Adelaide Central Markets and Kangaroo Island’s Flinders Chase National Park.

What to expects at Adelaide’s Qantas Domestic Business Lounge

Striking a balance between functionality and style, the design of the Qantas Domestic Business Lounge directly responds to passenger feedback. Championing an aesthetic of natural materials, furniture and lighting sourced from local suppliers, and a bespoke blown-glass light installation commissioned from JamFactory, the lounge also has USB-A/C power stations and wireless charging mats fitted in around 80% of seats, ensuring you’ll be comfortable, connected and powered up before your flight.

The dining experience is equally as curated, crafted to reflect the best of South Australia’s produce and the spirit of the region. The Market Kitchen is the signature dining concept and features a live cooking station that draws upon the Adelaide Central Markets and local producers across the state. Guests can expect dishes created by Qantas Creative Director of Food, Beverage and Service, Neil Perry, and lighter snack options by Maggie Beer.
