Each Qantas A380 has 14 first and 70 business class seats.
Qantas is now operating its Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Sydney nonstop service to exclusive daily Airbus A380 operations.
The move means the world’s largest commercial aircraft, the iconic double-deck A380, now runs daily on the DFW–Sydney route, offering more seats and elevated onboard experiences for travellers in all classes. This expansion comes alongside the return to service of Qantas’ tenth and final A380, which rejoined the fleet after nearly six years in storage. Its reactivation involved over 100,000 hours of global engineering work, including extensive inspections, heavy maintenance and a full cabin refresh.
Each Qantas A380 has 485 seating capacity, featuring 14 First, 70 Business, 60 Premium Economy and 341 Economy seats, all within a refreshed cabin configuration that includes an upgraded First Class experience, upper-deck lounge and expanded premium seating. The Qantas A380 also includes an onboard lounge on the upper deck available to Business and First customers.
Qantas International CEO Cam Wallace has highlighted both passenger enthusiasm for the A380 and the aircraft’s role in connecting key global markets. Last year, the airline’s A380s carried more than one million passengers across its international network, underscoring strong demand for premium long-haul travel.
