Operating since 1999, the Skytrax World Airport Awards is one of the most respected initiatives in the aviation industry, surveying customer experience between August 2025 and February 2026 to find airports delivering exceptional service from check-in through to departure.
Few people pause to appreciate a well-run airport while travelling, but everyone instantly notices when they’re stuck in a poor one. Frequent flyers know that a good airport can transform a transit experience from a test of patience into an enjoyable part of the journey. High-quality dining, entertainment, shopping and rest facilities can turn weary, frustrated travellers into relaxed and satisfied passengers. While not all airports maintain these standards, those that do were recently celebrated at the Skytrax World Airport Awards in London on 17 March 2026.

The airport has won the award 13 times before, and this year takes home additional awards for World’s Best Airport Dining, the World’s Best Airport in the 60-70 million passenger category, the World’s Best Airport Immigration Service and as the Best Airport in Asia.
